Austin Johnson is the founder and principal and AMJ Development. AMJ Development is a full-service real estate development and investment company based in Seattle, Washington.

 

Austin’s professional background includes roles at Colliers International and Norris Beggs & Simpson Financial Services (now Gantry). At Gantry, Austin worked on a team that originated and closed over $400,000,000 of commercial real estate loans. In 2016, Austin founded AMJ Development and left Norris, Beggs & Simpson.

 

Austin is an active member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties Washington State Chapter (NAIOP), where he serves as co-chair of the Developing Leaders Committee. He is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

 

Austin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Gonzaga University with a concentration in finance. He also holds a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from the University of Washington.

 

In his downtime, Austin enjoys the outdoors, traveling, reading, Seattle sports, Gonzaga basketball, and spending time with his friends and family. Austin considers his greatest strengths as a developer to be thoughtfulness, fairness, diligence, and positivity. His goal is to build first-class developments that positively contribute to the built environment and deliver superior financial returns.
