Austin Johnson is a commercial real estate developer and investor based in Seattle, Washington. His professional background is in commercial real estate finance and brokerage. In 2012, he accepted his first post college position at Colliers International in Bellevue, Washington as a research analyst. His next opportunity was at Norris, Beggs & Simpson Financial Services (now Gantry) in downtown Seattle financing all types of commercial real estate. While at NBS, he was involved with the origination of over $400,000,000 of closed loans. Austin worked at NBS for 3.5 years before founding AMJ Development in 2016.


AMJ Development is a full service real estate development and investment company. Its main geographic focus is throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. AMJ focuses on industrial, retail, multifamily, office and mixed use development and investment opportunities. AMJ prefers to hold real estate long term, but will consider short term hold periods.


Austin is a 2011 graduate of Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Finance concentration and a Spanish minor. In 2014 he earned a Certificate in Commercial Real Estate from the University of Washington. Austin is an active member of the Washington State chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He serves as the co-chair of NAIOP's Developing Leaders Committee.

In his spare time, Austin enjoys the outdoors, traveling, cooking, reading, spending time with family and friends and playing sports. Austin considers his greatest strengths to be thoughtfulness, diligence, fairness, honesty, positivity and persistence. His goal is to build a first class developments that positively contribute to the built environment and surrounding community.
